Vetiver Rain is a green and fresh niche perfume that takes its cue from the feeling of rain on warm earth. It opens with aquatic notes and citrus: bergamot and grapefruit give a clear, lively first impression. Then the scent becomes more herbaceous and green. Clary sage and violet leaf give that vegetal freshness that feels natural, and orange blossom gives softness without making the scent sweet. The base contains several types of vetiver – from Haiti, the Philippines and Bourbon – together with sandalwood and labdanum. This makes the scent steady and warm, but still easy to wear.
