Avenue Montaigne is a perfume that starts out fruity but quickly becomes more mature and cohesive. The opening is fresh and light, with grapefruit that cuts through and berries that give softness. After a while, the flowers take over. There is a clear white florality here with jasmine, tuberose and gardenia, but also rose that gives stability and water lily that makes the expression more airy. As the scent settles, patchouli emerges along with musk and a soft note of peach. It gives a warm finish that holds the whole together and makes the scent linger without feeling heavy.
