The Lover's Tale is a dramatic meeting of florals and leather, with a distinct chypre feel at the base. Honey and citrus open softly, but jasmine and rose quickly take over, giving the scent a rich, almost velvety bloom. Iris adds powdery elegance, and peach makes the whole thing more bodily than “fine”. When the base arrives, leather, labdanum and oakmoss hold everything together and give a smoky, mature sensuality that lingers for a long time.
