Forbidden Words – Bombay Gourmand – takes us to Mumbai's vibrant Bandra district, where the scent of bustling bars, smoky desserts and Indian sweets fills the night air. The fragrance opens with juicy sweet orange, delicate almond blossom and soft rose. In the heart, dark mysterious oud is woven together with a delicious salted caramel accord and fruity and herbaceous notes of davana and cypriol. The composition then settles into a warm, airy and enveloping base of creamy vanilla, structured cedarwood, resinous labdanum and earthy patchouli.
This is an intense, luxurious and uniquely balanced creation by perfumer Luca Maffei and a perfect harmony between rich gourmand sweetness and dark, woody accords.
