Terre d'Inde is warm and earthy without being dark: bitter orange and iris open brightly, with geranium adding a green sharpness. Then comes the heart note of saffron, incense and turmeric that lays a golden spicy veil over the skin.

The base is rich but balanced: sandalwood and amber with leather giving the scent a quiet depth. This is a scent that feels like material – wood, spice, leather – rather than a perfume pyramid.
