Lavender
Lavender is one of perfumery’s oldest and most versatile notes. It is found in classic barbershop fragrances as well as in modern, soft compositions.
How lavender smells in perfume
Lavender smells aromatic, herbal, and slightly camphoraceous, with a floral and almost powdery softness. It forms the foundation of the fougère family together with coumarin and oakmoss. Lavender becomes warm and modern when paired with tonka bean, vanilla, amber, and cedarwood.
