Esprit Mondain is a woody amber fragrance with spices, built for those who want to smell well-dressed without taking over the room. It starts fresh and green with lemon and galbanum, and black pepper gives a dry sting that makes the opening more astringent than sweet. After a while, the heart emerges with lavender and tarragon. Elemi gives a slightly resinous tone, and the Cabernet Sauvignon accord makes the fragrance unusually personal, like a darker shade under the freshness. In the base are cedarwood and ambroxan that provide stability and a clean warmth, while myrrh and musk make the fragrance hold together and last a long time.
