Inspired by various plates from a collection entitled "dessins chinois" ["Chinese drawings"] whose models were created by Jean-Antoine Fraisse in the 18th century for the Duc de Bourbon's factories, the design has been completely recreated by Cédric Peltier. The masterpiece is currently preserved at the Condé Museum in Chantilly. Printed on a mother-of-pearl mica background.
