Le jardin du palais velours - Pierre Frey
This nocturnal evocation of the garden of paradise so dear to the Safavid dynasty of the 16th century leaves one dreaming. This printed cotton velvet presents a lush Persian landscape where gazelles, tigers, squirrels, flamingos, and herons coexist peacefully within an ideal flora. This design is at the origin of a table service developed jointly with the Faïencerie de Gien.
