Nostrils dilate, ears prop up. California dreaming.
A scent that smells like the sound of a song.
When you step into Mariposa Grove in Yosemite, the world folds into a synaesthetic hum. The forest breathes in colours. Resin glows. You see the trees, but the giants see you too. Centuries of standing tall, of rain carving bark, of sunlight fermenting the air into something that smells like memory itself.
You… see me, too. is a reverence to the grove, to Ahwahnee, to the stillness of being seen by nature. It begins with the brightness of sweet orange, cutting through the air like light through the canopy. Then comes fir needles and oakmoss, the forest’s spine. A soft exhale of benzoin, frankincense, and Honey Provence follows, smoothing the edges. Vanilla anchors the silence at the end.
Born from our LA Smell Week journey that led us to Yosemite, this scent is both encounter and echo.
