Dive into the essence of a tropical downpour with Vetiver Rain, a masterful creation by Christophe Laudamiel. The first drops of rain kissing the rich, earthy soil of a lush jungle, enveloping you in nature’s embrace.
Zesty bergamot and juicy grapefruit add a sparkling touch of brightness, while vetiver offers an earthy and woody base. The result? A lively, energetic fragrance that feels like dancing barefoot in the rain. Vetiver Rain is not just a scent; it’s an experience of green freshness that’s down-to-earth.
Vetiver Rain harmoniously blends natural Haitian, Philippine, and Bourbon Vetiver. Natural violet leaves from Egypt and French clary sage complement the aromatic base of creamy sandalwood and rich labdanum. Elegantly lingering on your skin, the fragrance is wrapped in a transparent veil of molecular musks and moss.

About vetiver
Vetiver is a grass, of which scent is captured from its meters-long roots. The smell is unique: a combination of grass, earthy and water aromas overlaid with woodiness and hints of smoke. Mainly grown in Haiti, Ile de Réunion (Vetiver Bourbon) and Philippines, there is a beautiful terroir aspect to vetiver; its country of origin, soil, weather, and other growing conditions flavor the grass in different ways. Philippines’ vetiver is generally more earthy and bitter, whereas the vetiver from La Réunion and Haiti have a rounder and saltier profile with a cleaner green aspect. The differing vetiver profiles in Vetiver Rain combine to produce a multi-layered and rewarding perfume experience.
